SphereLearn operates Examply, an educational service for students preparing for examinations including JAMB, WAEC, and NECO. This policy explains what information may be processed when you use our website and app.

1. Information We May Process

Depending on the features you use, we may process information you provide, such as your email address and account details, and service data such as saved questions, practice progress, learning history, support messages, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service. The exact information processed depends on the features enabled and your use of them. We do not intentionally collect sensitive device identifiers such as IMEI or MAC address for advertising or profiling.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • create and secure accounts and authenticate users;
  • provide question practice, study tools, offline features, and sync where enabled;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service;
  • respond to support requests and verify payments or plan activation;

We do not use students' personal data to sell advertising profiles or to target users with advertisements.

4. AI and Learning Data

We may use service activity and feedback to troubleshoot and improve educational features. We do not grant ourselves an unlimited or perpetual license to publish or commercially exploit identifiable student information. Do not submit passwords, payment card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information into AI prompts or support messages.

We keep information for only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, syncing, security, dispute handling, and legal requirements. Retention periods may differ by data type. Some records may remain in backups or logs for a limited period after deletion. Examply is designed for secondary-school students, including users under 18. Where applicable law requires parent or guardian involvement or consent, that requirement applies. We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide the service.

Offline features may store some learning data on your device; if syncing is enabled, selected data may be transferred to our servers when connectivity returns.
